 Members in the group work voluntarily outside their countries and institutional roles. There is no cost and no obligation to join. We are asking you to consider volunteering your time in the summer or for distinct periods during the year. We will be fund raising for travel funds and stipends.  
     
  starting a chapter  

 

Thank you for your interest in starting a Chapter of Professors Beyond Borders. Chapter Applications will be reviewed monthly in the order in which they are received. Decisions for starting new chapters will be based on the following general criteria:
 
• Interest and resources to successfully start and support a chapter.
• Chapters are encouraged to adopt a PBB program and the number of new chapters admitted will depend on the number of available projects.
• PBB strives for a balance between Professional Chapters and Student Chapters to strengthen mentoring relationships; the numbers of approved chapters will thus depend on the professional to student chapter ratios in a specific location.
•Member interest and qualifications to successfully manage a new chapter of PBB.
